Scrap Tyre Business Manager is an offline-first app provided by Digitalgrub for scrap tyre businesses to manage purchases, sales, stock, expenses, and reports. This Privacy Policy applies to the Android, iOS, and web/PWA versions of the app.
The app is designed to keep business data on your own device or browser. Digitalgrub does not operate a cloud account system for this app and does not receive your app records automatically.
Information You Enter
The app may store information that you choose to enter, including:
- Business profile details such as business name, owner name, phone number, address, and tax ID.
- Purchase records such as supplier name, vehicle number, item details, quantity, weight, rate, payment type, notes, and optional item photos.
- Sales records such as customer name, customer phone number, item details, quantity, weight, rate, transport charges, payment status, notes, and optional item photos.
- Expense records, stock records, reports, and generated PDF or spreadsheet files.
How Data Is Stored
The app stores records locally on the device. Native Android and iOS builds use local SQLite storage. The web/PWA version uses browser storage, including SQLite-WASM and IndexedDB, so records remain inside the same browser profile unless you export or share them.
Photos and Camera Access
If you use the optional item photo feature, the app may ask for camera or photo library access. Photos selected or captured for purchases and sales are stored with the local transaction record. They are not uploaded to Digitalgrub by the app.
Reports, Sharing, and Exports
The app can generate PDFs, spreadsheets, and invoice text from your local records. When you choose to share or download these files, the destination app, email service, messaging service, file manager, or browser download location you select may receive the exported information. Their privacy practices are controlled by those services, not by Digitalgrub.
Data Sent to Digitalgrub
Digitalgrub does not automatically collect your business records, photos, reports, customer details, supplier details, or financial entries from this app. If you contact Digitalgrub for support and voluntarily send screenshots, exported files, or other details, Digitalgrub will use that information only to respond to your request and improve support.
Website and Hosting Logs
When you visit the hosted web version at tyrestock.digitalgrub.in, the web server or hosting provider may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, date and time, and security logs. These logs are used for hosting, troubleshooting, security, and service reliability.
Cookies and Tracking
The app does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or cross-site tracking. Browser storage used by the web/PWA version is for app functionality, offline loading, and local data storage.
Children's Privacy
The app is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. Digitalgrub does not knowingly collect personal information from children through this app.
Data Control and Deletion
Because records are stored locally, you control most app data on your device. You can delete records inside the app where delete actions are available, clear demo data from the app settings, remove the app from your device, or clear browser site data for tyrestock.digitalgrub.in. Clearing browser site data may permanently remove web/PWA records stored in that browser.
Security
Digitalgrub designs this app to keep records local and reduce unnecessary data transfer. You are responsible for protecting your device, browser profile, exported files, shared reports, backups, and any people who can access them.
Changes to This Policy
Digitalgrub may update this policy when the app changes, such as adding login, backup, cloud sync, analytics, or new integrations. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
